Support Point Mosaiikki moved to St. Paul’s Community Center (also known in Finnish as Paavalinkirkon Varustamo) in December 2025, carrying along the long-standing collaboration with the Community Center team while also becoming part of a new and welcoming community of St. Paul’s Church. As expected, the reception has been warm, and shared routines have quickly become smooth, friendly, and supportive.
Mondays have become the heart of Mosaiikki’s weekly rhythm at Sammatintie 5. During the Drop-In hours, the team is available to walk-in clients without booking in advance from 12:00-16:00. This is where anyone facing challenges with their residence permits or accessing services may come for support. The continuation of Waste&Feast Cafe at St. Paul’s has also offered a calm and warm start to the Drop-In day for many visitors. Soon after the move, Mosaiikki also organized a well‑attended Christmas celebration, strengthening the feeling that we had found a new home for our activities! As January progressed, the cooking club also launched in the new kitchen and venue, completing the transition of all Mosaiikki’s activities to their new setting.
The staff and visitors of Mosaiikki are grateful for how the shared life has begun to take shape — steady, hopeful, and strongly supported by the local network of actors working in support of migrants who are undocumented or at risk of becoming undocumented.
